One of the first pair of Nike’s that I ever owned, the Nike Air More Uptempo was made popular in the mid-nineties by Scottie Pippen. With the retro Nike Basketball line becoming more and more popular amongst the current budding NBA stars, it’s the perfect time to bring back the Uptempo. Seen on Lebron James earlier in the week, these Navy, Orange and White Air More Uptempos are available now at Nike retailers worldwide.
Just like the originals, the 2010 versions feature an oversized AIR sidewall, using suede all over the upper. With perforations in-between each letter, the shoes are well ventilated, keeping your feet dry during gameplay. The Air Sole is then extended through the full length of the shoe, a trait that is not typically found in Nike releases nowadays.
